Stage 4 Cancer Thrivers Unite!

I interviewed my bestie Willow Star about her stage 4 breast cancer journey in May, 2020 - Blast from the past! Check it out, it’s SUPER INSPIRING - I never listened to it till now!

Okay friends, this is kind of a crazy thing I did, but I figure, why the heck not? Back in May, 2020 I interviewed my beloved friend Willow Star via Zoom from Hawaii to San Francisco. We were in the height of the crazy pandemic then, as you might remember?

I was all set to make a 'Cancer Thriver Film' sharing inspirational peeps who were defying the odds with stage 4 cancer and Willow was my first victim (I mean ah, er, interviewee). As we were in a forced lock down and I could not be with her personally, Zoom was the best option. I DID NOT obviously go ahead and do the film, but ended up writing my book, 'Grace, Grit & Gratitude: A Cancer Thriver's Journey from Hospice to Full Recovery with the Healing Power of Horses' instead!

Lo and behold, Willow and I are still alive and thriving with stage 4 cancer! Miracles exist!

We actually became great friends soon after this video was recorded. We both have a lot in common and if you've followed my page for a while, you probably know what a powerful force of nature this gorgeous goddess is!

It's a lengthy video at one hour and twenty minutes. There is lots of great info in it sharing our process of living with late stage cancer!

Check it out and get a little laugh at this blast from the past. My hair is super short here and Willow is still in SF. (She now lives in Mt. Shasta.)
